Position Overview:Our client seeks a skilled Bilingual Senior Full-Stack Developer with experience in back-end and front-end development, 5+ years experience. Focus is on upgrading tech stack, Vue.js transition, and modern development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust, secure, and efficient code using PHP (7 and 8).
- Write optimized MySQL queries and use ActiveRecord ORM or similar frameworks.
- Transition existing and build new front-end features using Vue.js (60% of features are in Vue.js).
- Support legacy systems using Twig.
- Work with third-party integrations (Stripe, QuickBooks Online, RESTful APIs).
- Collaborate on API development.
- Use Docker for local development.
- Follow GitFlow practices.
- Contribute to architectural discussions (potential Laravel and MySQL 8 migration).
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in PHP (7 and 8), experience transitioning between versions.
- Strong Vue.js front-end development experience.
- Competence in JavaScript and basic HTML.
- Docker experience or quick learning ability.
- Familiarity with Slim Framework.
- Knowledge of Git and GitFlow.
- Experience with Stripe and QuickBooks Online.
- Upgrading projects or migrating frameworks (e.g., to Laravel).
- RESTful API development expertise.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
- Strong problem-solving and independent work skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
