Full-Time Billing Specialist

Attain Partners is a consulting firm seeking a Billing Specialist to join their Finance team in McLean, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Billing and controlling the invoicing process for timely and accurate billing.
• Perform quality control checks on billing system entries.
• Research and address billing discrepancies promptly.
• Revise and edit invoices as needed.
• Accounts receivable and collections.
• Reconcile unbilled receivables.
• Effectively communicate and interact with team members and customers regarding billing information and issues.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support team objectives.
• May include preparing General Ledger reconciliations.

Required Skills:

• At least 2+ years of billing experience in State & Local and Commercial contracting.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Understanding of T&M, and FP.
• Working knowledge of Unanet System.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounting practices and concepts.
• Strong work ethics, well organized, and a self-starter.
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
