Job Details
This role is based in Shawnee, KS. As a Billing Specialist, you will process and audit exhibit and sponsorship orders for Informa events.
Responsibilities Include:
- Process event orders within established guidelines.
- Review sales contracts and insertion orders for accuracy.
- Perform reconciliations by verifying system order details.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues.
- Generate weekly sales reports.
- Provide final event stats for month-end financials.
- Resolve billing conflicts with sales and senior management.
- Communicate with the sales dept. regarding orders.
- Support the Accounts Receivable Dept.
- Maintain excellent customer service.
- Adhere to general accounting practices.
Candidates should have:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Knowledge of billing procedures.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel, MSWord, and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Travel required.
