BIM Manager

The BIM Consultant will work with a skilled team on BIM strategy and project implementation for global clients.

1. Capture client requirements and create a BIM strategy.
2. Understand Civil/Architecture/Mechanical design and construction.
3. Author BIM documentation and workflows, following industry best practice.
4. Lead and manage BIM rollout and implementation across projects and programs.
5. Communicate BIM strategy, documentation, and workflows to stakeholders.
6. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Interface with clients, design teams, and contractors, implementing BIM methodologies.
8. Lead and manage a team.
9. Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops.
10. Conduct structured reviews of project models.
11. Perform clash detection on project models.
12. Analyze construction documentation.
13. Analyze and interpret data against project requirements.
14. Write detailed reports.
15. Peer review colleague work, maintaining quality standards.
16. Support colleagues with project deliverables.
17. Contribute to Turner & Townsend BIM documentation and processes.
18. Create and contribute to bid proposals.
19. Provide line management to colleagues.
20. Research and develop emerging technologies.
21. Champion Turner & Townsend digital services.
22. Adhere to SOX controls (where applicable).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Data Analytics).
• 2-5 years' post-graduate BIM management experience in commercial real estate construction.
• Data Center construction project management experience is a plus.

Skills Required:

• Understanding of emerging technology for client support.
• Working knowledge of industry and international BIM standards.
• Strong understanding of construction.
• Working knowledge of roles and responsibilities in BIM-enabled projects.
• Working knowledge of BIM documentation creation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of common data environments.
• Working knowledge of 3D modelling software (Revit, ArchiCAD).
• Understanding of construction documentation and on-site experience.
• Working knowledge of 3D model interrogation and clash detection software (Solibri, Navisworks).
• Ability to research and learn new software skills.
