jetfuel.agency's team seeks a part-time Bookkeeper to join the finance team. The role supports financial operations by maintaining accurate records, managing cash flow, and ensuring smooth transactions. The Bookkeeper collaborates with accountants for accuracy, compliance, and effective financial operations. This is a fully remote position with regular weekly/monthly calls, and a possible transition to full-time.
Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks, handle accounts receivable/payable, and establish better financial decision processes.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports (profit/loss, balance sheet, cash flow), financial forecasts, and budget reports to support decision-making. Maintain detailed financial process documentation.
- Monitoring & Control: Monitor costs, manage/maintain cash flow, and conduct financial audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with accountants for record accuracy/compliance, assist with purchasing/procurement, and provide financial insights/recommendations to management.
- Financial Analysis & Process Improvement: Perform in-depth financial analysis for growth opportunities and cost savings. Develop/implement process improvements for enhanced financial efficiency.
