About the role: To provide BSL interpreting both face-to-face and remotely, predominantly within the medical sector in Bristol/South West. May involve work with a range of clients in the private and public sectors, and individual Deaf clients. Opportunity to work on InterpretersLive! service.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Undertake face-to-face interpreting assignments
- Undertake video interpreting assignments
- Deliver high-quality BSL/English interpreting services
- Report to Head Interpreter and Line Manager
- Maintain CPD
- Adhere to NRCPD code of conduct
- Work effectively within the interpreting team
Essential skills/qualifications/experience:
- NRCPD registration
- RSLI/TSLI
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience in medical sector (desirable)
- Full driving licence (essential)
