Full-Time Build and Release Engineer

About the RoleAs a Release Engineer, you'll work with product development and operations teams to create tools and systems for continuous integration, testing, and release using rapid, reproducible builds and deployments. You'll maintain and improve the deployment pipeline to cloud and on-premise environments.

What You'll Do

• Ensure smooth and efficient software deployments.
• Collaborate with engineers to track dependencies and manage software/OS upgrades.
• Create and maintain comprehensive release process documentation (build/deploy, tools/scripts).
• Coordinate with stakeholders (developers, testers) to ensure smooth releases.
• Set up and configure CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments (if applicable).

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience in software development.
• 3+ years experience in software/build/release engineering for scalable applications.
• Experience with Linux/Unix/Windows OS.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.).
• Experience with Docker or other container technologies.
