Full-Time Building Consultant

We are seeking a Building Consultant to join our team in Lexington, KY. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person.

Responsibilities:

• Interfaces with clients (adjusters, brokers, insurers, etc.)
• Schedules and performs field inspections to evaluate damage.
• Estimates projects using Xactimate, Symbility, RS Means, etc.
• Documents and analyzes schedules, contracts, reports, etc.
• Provides technical direction to other consultants.
• Collaborates with Business Development Managers to develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years estimating experience in restoration, insurance, and remediation.
• Experience estimating large commercial and/or residential losses.
• Proficiency in Xactimate, Symbility, RS Means, or other estimating software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong project management, analysis, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or associate degree.
• IICRC related degrees, credentials, or certifications.
• RRC, PMP, or other relevant certifications.

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

• Ability to wear PPE.
• Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment.
• Able to climb ladders.
• Able to write reports.
• May be exposed to UV radiation, radon, or other pollutants.
• Availability to work weekends or nights, travel.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
