Drive sales pipeline: Acquire new clients, prospect, generate leads, qualify opportunities, manage through sales cycle.
Build brand presence: Proactively expand brand at industry conferences, networking events, webinars.
Develop relationships: Establish & maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (C-level, D-level) in software & BFSI organizations.
Communicate value: Effectively communicate software development & testing service value proposition to prospects.
Deliver presentations & proposals: Develop compelling sales presentations, drive proposals alongside offshore delivery team to meet client needs.
Execute land-and-expand strategy: Gain more wallet share in strategic accounts.
Maintain records: Maintain accurate sales records, provide regular updates on pipeline progress & performance metrics.
Stay informed: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, competitor activities.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years working independently as a Sales Representative in Australia, preferably supporting offshore software development centers in Vietnam or India.
- Proven success in hunting (lead generation) and consistently closing at least US$1.5M worth of new engagements annually for three consecutive years (renewals not included).
- Strong experience in shaping and selling software development and testing services.
- Extensive network within the Australian tech ecosystem, with direct access to influential decision-makers in software and BFSI industries, especially at senior executive levels.
- Strong understanding of the Australian market, with at least 3 years of professional experience in Australia, including a proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with local clients and stakeholders.
