The Role Pilot is building a first-of-its-kind, hybrid software/service solution to tackle the financial back office (bookkeeping, tax, CFO, etc.). Founders and business owners can focus on building and running their businesses.
The Customer Operations department (125+ employees) partners with customers to manage their accounting back office and support business goals.
This individual contributor role reports to the Head of Business Operations.
Collaborate with Customer Operations service delivery team members, cross-functional partners and peer Business Operations Managers.
Support various towers (e.g., Onboarding Operations, Steady State Operations) within Customer Operations.
Requires a strategic and creative thinker with strong organizational and communication skills.
Understand, interpret, and use data to drive business outcomes and process change.
At the forefront of planning and allocating work for the organization.
Understand the interplay between planning & allocations with process execution.
Work on critical initiatives and daily business partner cross-functionally to identify & execute process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics to evaluate business performance, prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Project Management: Lead key initiatives and projects to drive growth, manage teams to ensure milestones are met.
- Change Management: Support change adoption, develop communications, training, user guides.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in processes, workflows, and systems.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop strategic initiatives for Customer Operations leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Culture Stewardship: Foster a positive and inclusive high-performance culture, championing company values.
About You
Experience: 5-7 years in business operations, strategy, or senior project management, ideally in a start-up or technology-forward environment.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in business operations software (e.g., ERP systems), data analytics tools (e.g., GSheets, Excel, SQL, Looker), business modeling.
Project Management: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects for successful business outcomes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
Base Pay: $70,000 - $131,000 (remote), $100,000 - $170,000 (San Francisco/New York).
