Full-Time CAD Analyst - Fully Remote

This role is ideal for someone with proven development engineering and planning skills. Seeking forward-leaning candidates to coordinate and deliver high-quality engineering and planning deliverables on large-scale solar and storage projects across the US. The candidate will interact with planning and zoning offices, permitting, engineering consultants, and executive management.

The role requires a keen eye for details and a strong understanding of the planning and engineering process to bring projects to commercial operation.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining AutoCAD and GIS standards for the Planning & Engineering Department
• Preparing environmental due diligence figures and maps
• Preparing Land Constraints Analyses and site development layouts
• Managing early site due diligence packages
• Reviewing regulatory requirements and technical permitting parameters
• Designing and optimizing projects based on techno-economic analysis
• Conducting technical analyses in GIS, CAD, and other engineering software
• Managing and maintaining the company project database using ArcGIS Online

Qualifications include:

• Proven experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS (ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS)
• ArcGIS Online experience creating web maps
• Data acquisition skills and understanding of GIS metadata, files, and sources
• Experience in site development
• Understanding of constraints mapping (NWI, FEMA, Web Soil Survey, Lidar)
• Understanding of zoning regulations and environmental constraints risk assessments
• Ability to learn engineering principles and software
• Highly productive, efficient with minimal oversight
• Affinity for detail and high-quality work
• Resourceful and communicative
• PVCase experience preferred, but not required
