As a Digital Marketing Consultant, you will join the senior management team to lead and strengthen the organization’s digital presence in alignment with FCSS-FESC’s mission and operational goals. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that enhances brand visibility, increases engagement across digital platforms, and supports organizational growth and sustainability.
This role will involve streamlining digital workflows, supporting internal documentation, and ensuring marketing efforts are scalable, efficient, and aligned with broader business functions.
- Develop and implement multi-channel digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media, to drive awareness and engagement.
- Identify and analyze opportunities to align digital outreach with FCSS-FESC’s goals, mission, and evolving program needs.
- Oversee the creation, curation, and optimization of digital content (blogs, social posts, videos, graphics) ensuring consistent branding and audience relevance.
- Create documentation and templates for repeatable content workflows to ensure consistency and reduce redundancies.
- Use tools like Google Analytics and platform insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness, track KPIs, and generate actionable reports for internal stakeholders.
- Manage content calendars and maintain an active, strategic presence across key social platforms to engage target audiences and build community.
- Plan, write, and distribute a regular email newsletter to inform and engage stakeholders, highlighting key initiatives, updates, and opportunities within the organization.
- Contribute insights to financial planning, campaign budgeting, and ROI tracking for marketing initiatives.
- Present findings and implementation recommendations to the Board of Directors and senior management for consideration and approval.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
Ideal Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field (in-progress or completed).
- Some experience in graphic design, social media marketing, web design and/or video-editing (0.5 to 2 years).
- Familiarity with the Canadian education system (0.5 to 2 years).
- Experience producing high-quality written reports, guides, or tools for stakeholder audiences (1 to 4 years).
- Ability to manage timelines independently and balance multiple tasks (1 to 4 years).
- Clear and respectful communication skills with attention to inclusive and affirming language (1 to 4 years).
