Part-Time Care Worker - Experienced

The Opportunity: Seeking a dedicated Care Worker to support older community members in maintaining their independence and wellbeing.

What we’re looking for:

• Passionate about providing excellent service.
• Comfortable working independently and finding solutions.

In addition, you will need:

• A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
• Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role

The role:

Providing aged care clients with home help services such as:

• General housekeeping and making beds
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping

Providing personal care services such as:

• Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
• Assisting clients to take their medications
• Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
• Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia 
• Providing social and emotional support
• Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
• Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
