Part-Time Care Worker - Fairfield - Experienced

We are looking for a Care Worker to join the Silverchain team in the Fairfield NSW 2165 area.

In addition, you will need:

• An Open class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role.

The role:

In the role of Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help and personal care services such as:

• General housekeeping and making beds
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping
• Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
• Assisting clients to take their medications
• Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
• Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
• Providing social and emotional support
• Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
• Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
