What we’re looking for:

• Passionate about providing excellent service
• Can build positive relationships with clients and their families
• Comfortable working independently

In addition, you will need:

• An Open class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
• Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience in with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

The role:

In the role of Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help and personal care services such as:

• General housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping
• Assisting with personal care, mobility, and medications
• Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
• Providing social and emotional support
• Providing transport to activities or appointments
• Helping the family carer to have a break
