It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community. Silverchain is looking for someone to join their team in the Laurieton NSW 2443 area.

In addition, you will need:

• An Open class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in aged care.

The role:

In the role of Home Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services, such as:

• General housekeeping and making beds
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping
• Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
• Helping the family carer to have a break
