Full-Time Chief Architect

• Technical Strategy & Vision: Define and maintain Tangible’s technical architecture roadmap, aligning it with business strategy and long-term growth objectives.
• Architecture Design & Implementation: Own the end-to-end design of integrations with banks, custodians, and financial institutions.
• Security, Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to financial and data security regulations (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, SOC2).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and direction to engineering teams, ensuring architectural consistency and delivery excellence.

• 10+ years of professional experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or fintech integrations.
• Proven expertise in API design, enterprise integrations, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial protocols (e.g., FIX, SWIFT, ISO 20022) and secure data exchange.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), containerization, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks (KYC/AML, PSD2, GDPR).
• Familiarity with identity and access management standards (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
