Resultant is looking for a Cloud and Systems Engineer to join our Managed Services Service Delivery team. This role involves working with stakeholders to manage on-premise and cloud-native software implementations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end modernization of legacy applications, migrating from on-premise to cloud-native environments using Azure, VMware, M365, and Intune.
- Develop migration roadmaps and assess application readiness.
- Architect and implement multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Evaluate and select cloud and datacenter services.
- Design hybrid networking architectures, including routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Define hybrid data architecture strategies, including SAN/NAS integration, Azure Files, Blob Storage, and S3 buckets.
- Assess and optimize existing infrastructure and deployment methodologies.
- Design and document scalable, secure, and reliable system architectures.
- Architect and oversee VMware environments.
- Implement best practices for hybrid software deployment and endpoint management.
- Collaborate across service desk, engineering, security, and business teams.
- Provide technical leadership on cloud architecture and governance.
- Conduct cloud environment assessments.
- Lead automation initiatives using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps.
- Mentor team members on cloud technologies, VMware architecture, and hybrid networking.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, cloud computing, or related technical roles.
- Expertise in Azure, VMware, and Datacenter hosting.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune.
- Experience in designing hybrid networking architectures.
- Understanding of hybrid data architectures.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Terraform, and/or Python.
- Familiarity with ITIL and cloud governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 10%).
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
