Cint is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure (DevOps) Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You will be an efficient problem solver, learn quickly, and make decisions fast. You'll work with the latest technologies and tools.
Your focus will include:

- Providing expertise on infrastructure and CI/CD to engineering teams.
- Automating software build and deployment to our cloud platform.
- Improving monitoring and alerting systems for better application insights.
- Participating in an on-call rotation for troubleshooting.
You'll be key in communicating the overall picture to development teams.
The Infrastructure Team: Designs, builds, and develops secure and highly available infrastructure, providing a self-service environment for software development teams.
Major elements of our platform include: AWS (S3, RDS, Kinesis, EC2, EMR, ElastiCache, ElasticSearch, EKS), Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Packer, Ansible, and Jenkins. We support applications in Golang, Python, Java, Scala, and .Net. We use Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite, and ELK stacks for monitoring.
We are compulsive about infrastructure as code and driven to achieve a full end-to-end continuous deployment pipeline.
What We Are Looking For:
Someone who shares our values, is energized by complex challenges, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in cloud infrastructure roles (AWS) within DevOps teams.
- Comfortable interacting with AWS via CLI and/or API.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code with Terraform and ideally Ansible/Packer.
- Excellent knowledge of building and running Docker images/containers.
- Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including git and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TravisCI, GitHub Actions).
- Grasp of “cloud native” and 12-Factor applications.
- Good knowledge of monitoring and alerting using Graphite, Statsd, Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty.
- Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Ruby, Node, Golang, Java).
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Knowledge of the network stack at L4 and L7, particularly inter VPC routing.
- Experience with managing DNS and resolver hierarchies.
- Ability to debug HTTP APIs and understand other L7 protocols.
- Experience administering Kubernetes.
- Specific cloud security expertise.
- Experience building and running Windows servers in AWS.
- Experience with continuous deployment strategies and technologies.
