Full-Time Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

Your mission We are looking for a proactive Systems Administrator with a strong understanding of Linux administration, Google Workspace and cloud service management, to join our international and dynamic team.

Your profile

The Role & Responsibilities:

1. Linux Server Administration: Maintain and administer Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and security hardening. Manage users, groups, and permissions. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Implement backup and recovery strategies.
2. Tableau Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server on Linux. Manage users, content, and permissions within Tableau Server. Monitor server performance and optimize for efficiency. Implement backup and restore procedures for Tableau Server.
3. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Management: Manage Google Compute Engine (GCE) VMs, including creation, resizing, and configuration. Configure networking components, including static IPs and DNS. Manage persistent disks and snapshots for storage and backups. Utilize Cloud Monitoring and Logging for system health and troubleshooting. Implement security best practices and manage IAM roles and firewall rules. Optimize GCP costs by monitoring usage and exploring cost-saving options.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to understand requirements and provide technical support. Document system configurations and procedures. Participate in on-call rotation for critical system issues.

Knowledge and skills:

• Strong Linux administration skills (command-line, file system/user/package management, networking, monitoring, security, backups).
• Proficient in Tableau Server administration (installation, configuration, user/content management, performance monitoring, security, upgrades, troubleshooting).
• Experienced with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including VM management, networking, storage, monitoring/logging, security/IAM, and cost optimization.
• Professional communication skills in English (100% proficiency).

Nice to have:

• Experience with other Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
