We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Analytics Department to support our expansion into digital and financial inclusion across markets.
REMOTE ROLE
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be a collaborative, communicative, systematic, and fast-learning results-driven individual, supporting our teams in modernization, scalability, security, and efficiency within our complex and growing cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Automate and maintain M-KOPA's infrastructure for application hosting and integration.
- Support teams in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with senior members who will coach and mentor on quality output, observability, and monitoring.
Expertise:
- Support services using Microsoft Azure, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Support transitions of legacy IaaS assets to modern infrastructure.
- Maintain shared cloud infrastructure (observability, updates, automation, capacity management, compliance, and security).
- Collaborate with backend developers to empower them with infrastructure management (CI/CD, resource scaling, observability).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-code and its value.
