Full-Time Cloud Migration Engineer

• Develop Migration Strategy: Define the optimal migration path for various workloads using the 6 R's framework.
• Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure for client projects.
• Execute Cloud Migrations: Lead and perform the actual migration of workloads from on-premises or existing cloud environments to the target cloud platform.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve: Investigate and remediate issues across compute, storage and network layers that occur throughout the migration and cutover.
• Automation & CI/CD: Design, implement, and manage GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Champion and enforce IaC best practices using Terraform or Cloud native tooling.
• Application Rationalization: Experience with high level application portfolio analysis and discovery.
• Application Modernization: Replatform or Rearchitect legacy applications utilizing cloud-native services.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure client infrastructure adheres to key compliance standards such as SOC2 and ISO27001. Implement and manage security best practices.
• Artificial Intelligence: Build and effectively utilize Ai to enhance operational efficiency and business agility in project delivery.
• Monitoring & Reliability: Develop and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance for a Client.
• Knowledge Transfer: Document solutions and processes, and train client engineering teams.
• Achieve Utilization Targets: Maintain and record agreed upon billable and utilization targets.

• Extensive Cloud Platform Expertise (5+ years): Deep, hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Migration Methodology: Demonstrated expertise in planning, designing, and executing cloud migration strategies.
• Modernization Skills: Implement application modernization techniques, including lift-and-shift, containerization, and serverless architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation/ARM Templates/Deployment Manager.
• Networking and Security: Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
• Virtualization Technology: Familiarity with vmware, hyper-v, and physical networking devices and architectures
• Accredited: Have obtained a minimum of one of the following: AWS Solution Architect Pro, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect certifications
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Experience designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
