Full-Time Cloud Operations Specialist

Cloud Operations Team:

Plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based infrastructure. Maintain and optimize cloud environments for Shift's AI-driven insurance solutions (Azure, AWS, OVH).

Responsibilities:

• Manage support tickets (changes, requests, incidents).
• Ensure Incident management process efficiency.
• Monitor alerts and escalate as needed.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, OVH) and backups.
• Maintain Linux and Windows systems, network, and security.
• Apply security patches.
• Deploy new client projects and infrastructure.
• Ensure server compliance with security policies.
• Cultivate relationships with co-workers and clients.
• Available to work weekends (1 in 3).

Requirements:

• Knowledge of cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Networking and firewall expertise (VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, URL filtering, IDPS).
• Proficiency in Windows, Office, and Active Directory.
• Infrastructure security experience (patch and vulnerability management).
• Backup knowledge and experience.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Grafana).
• Jira, Confluence, and DevOps tool experience (Git, Jenkins, Ansible).
• Knowledge of compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
