Full-Time Cloud Technical Solutions Consultant

• Build scalable cloud-hosted solutions for demonstrating features and benefits of our customers’ products and services.
• Thoroughly understand the technical and business aspects of customers’ products and features prior to building out the solutions.
• Work as a member of a cross-functional, cross-organizational virtual team.
• Stay on the cutting edge of technology evolution in the Microsoft cloud services as a subject matter expert within the company.
• Interact with fellow team members, project managers, and stakeholders to discuss strategies, architecture, and implementation plans.
• Build robust automation and monitoring solutions using modern platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Power Platform to minimize manual interaction and maximize system stability, usability, and security.
• Monitor and respond to work items or incoming support tickets related to supported solutions.

This is a mid-career level position, ideally suited for someone with 4-6 years of IT Professional experience managing or administering cloud, on-premises, and network infrastructures. Prior experience working in an IT or infrastructure administration setting, preferably in a security or SecOps capacity, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have most of the following qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience working directly with external customers to solve complex, cloud-based security infrastructure problems.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies and understanding technical details with an ability to translate complex features into an effective and compelling story.
• Experience managing and deploying infrastructures for security, XDR and SIEM solutions.
• Experience with the Microsoft cloud identity and security solutions, such as: Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Intune.
• Prior experience using scripts (PowerShell, ARM deployment templates, Azure CLI).
• Experience configuring, baselining and automating virtual devices or VM deployments.

The following skills are highly desirable or expected after 6-12 months on the job:

• Building automations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function Apps, and Power Automate.
• Fluency with the Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell scripts to develop applications for, or automate tasks in Microsoft online products, especially the Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender, and related security products.
• Ability to write and deploy infrastructure as a code (IaC, such as Terraform) targeting tenancies in Microsoft 365 and Azure.
