Temporary Commerce Editor Temporary

BDG is seeking a part-time, remote Commerce Editor to join our growing Commerce and Affiliate Marketing team.

The team consists of editors and business strategists who create affiliate content across BDG's sites. These articles operate separately from each site's editorial team.

Commerce articles are written to generate revenue from sales of featured products.

The Commerce Editor's daily responsibilities include editing articles, ensuring editorial standards are upheld and revenue is generated through product sales. This role is ideal for detail-oriented editors and persuasive writers who are enthusiastic about shopping and products.

This role is a great fit for those with a copyediting, copywriting, or marketing background.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a self-starting environment and meeting deadlines.

Candidates must work remotely 28 hours per week and be available during major shopping events (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Prime Day).

Responsibilities:

• Edit articles for grammar, voice, product choice, and formatting.
• Update and optimize existing content.
• Research products across categories (beauty, tech, lifestyle).
• Use analytics tools to monitor content performance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in e-commerce or editorial, with a preference for affiliate content.
• Strong ability to write and edit engaging content that encourages product discovery.
• Strong analytical skills to review performance data and optimize content.
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress) and affiliate platforms (Amazon Associates).
• Some experience managing writers is a plus.

Compensation: $25-$25 per hour
