Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Scheduler to provide consulting and support services within the planning and scheduling function.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply construction industry standard scheduling best practices.
- Develop and maintain high-level master schedules to manage projects through design, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
- Generate and update detailed project schedules based on drawing reviews and input from project stakeholders.
- Review contractor construction schedules for compliance with contract requirements, use of scheduling best practices, progress, and changes.
- Coordinate schedule activities between various projects and stakeholders.
- Prepare or review Time Impact Analyses and provide recommendations for impact mitigation.
- Travel to project sites and assess schedule progress in the field.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 7+ years of scheduling experience in the construction industry, with experience in building construction preferred.
- Scheduling experience on at least one (1) project with a minimum cost of $5,000,000.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
- Experience with developing, maintaining, and reviewing project schedules, including experience with cost and resource loading.
- Capable of reading and interpreting architectural and MEP drawings.
- Experience being in the field during construction.
- Knowledge of project management information system (PMIS) implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Strong communication skills and capacity to develop and maintain relationships with Project Managers, Owners, Contractors, and other project team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word and Excel.
- Certification of PSP or PMI-SP a plus.
- Experience in building construction preferred.
- Federal Government construction experience preferred.
Compensation:
$95K-$125K per year.
Salary ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
