Full-Time Construction Site Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate on-site activities and monitor progress, procuring materials as needed.
• Guarantee building erection meets customer specifications and timeframe, adhering to CISC standards.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative job site control.
• Attend and participate in on-site and off-site meetings, including safety meetings.
• Manage and maintain construction site trailer and amenities.
• Submit daily site reports and punch lists according to Canam standards.
• Update Trimble Connect and Smartsheet daily.
• Monitor schedules and update them daily.
• Communicate with stakeholders and the General Contractor.
• Coordinate daily pull-planning meetings with Canam sub-trades, ensuring safety compliance.
• Manage on-site record-keeping, including hazard assessments.

Qualifications:

• Construction trade Journeyman Certificate or Diploma
• 3-5 years construction site supervision experience
• Ability to read structural drawings
• Thorough understanding of industry practices, standards, and their impact on projects
• Autonomous, results-oriented, with strong time-management and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of construction schedules and Gantt charts
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Google Suite and computer systems
• Superior interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence)
• Ability to apply innovative supervision techniques

Work Environment:

• Working safely is a condition of employment.

• Daily interaction with construction personnel, managers, and team members.
