Full-Time Copywriter

Copywriter Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior writers for strategic ideas and concepts.
• Generate compelling copy across various channels (digital, social, print, video, direct mail).
• Manage projects with senior oversight to ensure brand consistency.
• Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
• Accountable for workload and scheduling, delivering on time or making timely arrangements.
• Evaluate copy and concepts through the lens of the brand(s).
• Understand client brand and competition.
• Begin understanding product positioning and repositioning.
• Build off brainstorming sessions with thematic names, lines, and strategic thoughts.
• Contribute to white paper write-ups with effective copy.
• Present work to internal teams and clients, refining ideas with the creative director.
• Begin championing ideas within the agency.

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio with diverse writing samples.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, creative writing, or journalism (or equivalent) and/or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Curiosity and willingness to research client brands and market trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
• Dedication to building a culture of respect, collaboration, equity, and creativity.
