Full-Time Cost Engineer – Data Center Construction

Turner & Townsend seeks a highly skilled Cost Engineer to join their Phoenix, Arizona data center team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets.
• Perform cost analysis and forecasting.
• Identify financial risks and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare cost reports and progress updates.
• Collaborate with project teams for cost control.
• Identify cost savings opportunities.
• Engage and manage third-party quantity surveyors.
• Update cost data repository.
• Define and track cost performance metrics.
• Adhere to SOX controls (where applicable).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in cost engineering, focusing on data center construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in cost estimation software.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Solid understanding of financial forecasting and cost accounting.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be a team player.
