Are you a CTO, with startup experience? Do you have network, blockchain, gambling, games, e-commerce experience? Do you have knowledge of building a network platform (Think Twitter, TikTok, and WhatsApp powered by live scores for football/soccer)? Are you capable of not only leading a team but teaching from the ground up a group of less experienced engineers scattered around the world? Are you willing to get your hands dirty?
We will maintain oleolesport while building a social network and messaging platform for football. We have several exclusive fan travel sponsorship deals worth millions in revenue. These deals include marketing rights that will drive traffic to the new social network as well as sell our ticket packages.
We are building a native platform utilizing Rust, we're not building with shortcuts in mind. We are building for long-term success and owning all of our technology is critical.
We are building a brand synonymous with football, with 20,000 clubs, 210 national teams (Where Fans Kickoff!). We are building a social network and a marketplace for football.
The marketplace (similar to WeChat) will offer brands the opportunity to sell tickets, hospitality, merchandise, gaming, gambling, and many other services. These mini-apps will sit in the cloud and be embedded within our app.
We are building the world's first social network for sports. All content is fan-driven with the exception of scores, fixture lists, tables, squads, and history.
We are applying world-class machine learning, artificial intelligence, visual search, data storage, and client technologies to one of the largest sports with datasets of ideas in one place. We will use AI to disrupt Wikipedia’s football history category.

About Us
OleOle is building the world’s first social networking and messaging platform for football fans, integrating features similar to WeChat, Twitter, WhatsApp, and TikTok. Our tech stack is native, built in Rust, and we are in the early development phase after completing the prototype and wireframes.
We are seeking a hands-on, technical, and strategic CTO who has built and scaled startups. You will lead, mentor, and coach a young, global, remote engineering team operating on deferred compensation until we close funding.
Who You Are
- A proven startup leader – You have 7-10+ years as a CTO and have led engineering teams at early-stage startups.
- A technical expert – Strong background in Rust and is an active coder.
- A team coach & mentor – You can motivate and develop junior engineers.
- Experienced in remote teams – You have led distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Willing to work for deferred compensation – Until funding closes, the team is working on a sweat equity model.
- Ideally has access to capital – While not required, a CTO with investor connections would be a huge plus.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & build our Rust-native platform from the ground up.
- Mentor & develop a young engineering team working for deferred compensation.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of our architecture.
- Work hands-on with the codebase, setting up best practices.
- Coordinate development timelines for Phase 1 (7–8 months) and Phase 2 (9–10 months).
- Align with our vision to build the world’s largest sports social platform.
