Full-Time Data Architect

About your tasks:

• Design and architect scalable data infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technologies, ensuring efficient data collection, storage, and processing across batch and real-time pipelines.
• Lead the implementation of observability practices to monitor end-to-end data workflows and system health, ensuring data integrity, quality, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership for the Databricks platform, guiding best practices for data engineering, analytics, and AI workloads, and ensuring the platform's effective use across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, scientists, analysts, and business leaders) to define data governance and architectural standards aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure the scalability and optimization of our data architecture, accommodating growing data volumes, new data sources, and evolving business needs.

About you: 

• Expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Event-Hubs, and other Azure-based services, with a strong understanding of how they integrate into an overarching data architecture.
• Proven experience in architecting and governing ETL/ELT data pipelines for batch and real-time processes, focusing on performance, scalability, and data quality. Familiarity with Apache Airflow and dbt is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL, Spark, Python, or other programming languages used for building data solutions, with the ability to design and optimize high-performance data systems.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, future-proof architectural solutions.
