Medici is revolutionizing healthcare by providing enrolled stakeholders and their dependents with access to a personal medical team of doctors, nurses, and specialists. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake and AWS to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our growing healthcare platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS services.
- Build and manage data warehouses, ensuring data is structured and optimized for analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals to collect and integrate data from various sources.
- Ensure high-quality data solutions that support real-time analytics and machine learning models for healthcare delivery.
- Maintain and enhance data infrastructure to support Medici’s virtual healthcare ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure the integrity and availability of data platforms.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience with Snowflake for building and managing data warehouses.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services such as S3, Redshift, EC2, Lambda, and Glue.
- Experience with ETL processes, including tools like Airflow or similar workflow management tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or other programming languages for data manipulation.
Preferred Skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certification in Snowflake and AWS (Beneficial)
- Experience with data streaming tools such as Kafka or Kinesis.
- Knowledge of machine learning workflows and experience with AI/ML models in healthcare.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in Salesforce administration or solution analysis, with a proven track record of successful Salesforce implementations.
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator Certification required. Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder certifications are a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and implementation methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Salesforce integration tools and APIs.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Classic.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
