Full-Time Data Entry Clerk

Our client, a nationally recognized, regional not-for-profit health plan, is seeking a Healthcare-Data Entry Clerk to join their team, REMOTELY ! (**East Coast Preferred**)

Job Details

• Start Date: September 9, 2024.
• End Date: March 3,2025.
• Location: 100% Remote - Equipment Provided
• Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:00pm

Qualifications

• Healthcare administration experience
• 1 - 2 years previous medical experience and /or claims experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong Data Entry skills required. Minimum of 5000-7000 key strokes per hour preferred
• Able to recognize some medical terminology
• Comfortable using a computer and has intermediate computer skills.

Job Summary

• Performcontinuous keying of multiple claim form types such as Medical, Dental and miscellaneous documents from both electronic images on screen and paper documents at a PC workstation into the PCS application.
• Demonstrated ability towork in a team environment and always present a positive professional attitude and work with other areas as required.
• Ability to meet department standards for Production and Quality; sit for long periods of time; must be flexible and on occasion work overtime if the business need requires; follow verbal and written directions and maintain confidentiality; quality oriented, motivated team player; and must be punctual. Perform other duties as assigned
