Full-Time Data Platform & AI Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our data governance, data engineering, data lake, analytics, and AI platforms. This role will set the technical vision, define target architecture, and ensure alignment with business and technical strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Vision:

• Develop and articulate the evolving target architecture, high-level design, and strategic roadmaps.
• Ensure alignment with overarching business and technical strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives, and implement architecture that supports these aims.

Architectural Alignment:

• Conduct architecture reviews to maintain consistency across teams and manage technology dependencies.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure the architecture meets overall requirements.
• Foster collaboration across different architecture domains to ensure coherence and uniformity.

Standards Implementation:

• Evaluate and approve technical designs, ensuring they adhere to established standards and enhance engineering resilience.
• Provide guidance on best practices for new or evolving solutions.
• Address risks and manage technical debt when systems deviate from standards.

Continuous Improvement:

• Partner with teams to share insights and best practices, continuously enhancing architectural health.
• Offer constructive feedback to teams to refine their processes.
• Strive to improve operational uptime while reducing costs and risks over time.

AI/Agentic Solutions:

• Design and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance data analytics and decision-making processes.
• Integrate agentic models into data platforms to automate and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with AI teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models and solutions into the architecture.
• Stay updated with advancements in AI and agentic technologies, proposing innovative solutions to improve system capabilities.
