Full-Time Data Science Manager

Lime is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead the Data Science and Analytics - Supply team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists.
• Own the data science roadmap for supply, focusing on demand forecasting, positioning system optimization, fleet health, and hardware innovations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Develop and deploy machine learning and optimization models.
• Define and track key performance metrics.
• Oversee A/B testing and causal inference analyses.
• Advocate for a data-driven culture.

About You

• 5+ years of industry experience in data science, with at least 1+ year of leadership experience.
• MS or PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• Ability to translate complex data science concepts.
• Deep expertise in forecasting, optimization, and machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong experimentation skills – experience in A/B testing, causal inference, and experimental design.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Experience with spatial-temporal demand forecasting, routing problems, or supply chain optimization.
• Experience in building data pipelines, automating workflows, and working with ML infrastructure (e.g., SageMaker, Airflow, DBT).
