The OpportunityPalmstreet is looking for a Data Scientist II to join the team and drive data-powered decision-making. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business and marketing stakeholders to develop analytic dashboards, generate actionable product insights and build AI/ML solutions that accelerate GMV growth. You will apply advanced AI/ML techniques to enhance live personalization, growth forecasting, LTV inference, supply-demand optimization and wherever creativity happens.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable ETL pipelines to process and analyze terabytes of user interaction data.
• Define, visualize and monitor key business and product metrics to inform decision-making.
• Build, deploy, A/B test and iterate on ML products using appropriate algorithms and infrastructures.
• Partner with PMs, designers and engineers to develop scalable AI/ML-driven products.
• Successfully complete projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity and standard.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analytics experience in growth market, campaigns, user behaviors or economics.
• 2+ years of hands-on ML experience in supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with big data fundamentals on a cloud platform.
• Ability to identify and propose growth opportunities actively.
• Passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment, making a difference and driving meaningful impact.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote work setting.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Mandarin) is a plus, but not required.

CompensationPay Range: $100,000 - $132,000 CAD
