Data Scientist – Org Planning Support
This is a contract position.
This is a remote opportunity with a preference for candidates located in the PT time zone.

Are you a seasoned data scientist who thrives on discovering opportunities through data and helping engineering teams make insight-driven decisions? This role supports organizational planning by driving product insights, metric definitions, and advanced analysis to influence feature development and topline growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery analysis to uncover actionable insights and growth opportunities
- Define metrics and support reporting for product and feature releases
- Develop predictive models and advanced algorithms to extract business value
- Collaborate with engineers to turn prototypes into scalable product features
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and data visualizations to support decision-making
Job Skills/Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or statistical modeling
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with Hadoop, Tableau, or similar big data and visualization tools
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret experimental results
- Excellent written communication skills to explain complex findings clearly
