Full-Time Data Scientist, Remote

OverviewExperian Innovation Lab is a research and development unit dedicated to enhancing client relationships and acquiring strategic datasets. We leverage our understanding of individuals, markets, and economies to help organizations build profitable customer relationships.

As a Data Scientist, you'll develop analytical solutions, contribute to product prototypes, and assess data assets. You will bring expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and deep learning.

Responsibilities

• Craft advanced machine learning solutions to extract insights from diverse data sources (structured and unstructured).
• Identify data value by selecting and applying appropriate machine learning, deep learning, and processing techniques.
• Design efficient data structures and storage solutions to refine data manipulation and retrieval.
• Innovate with tools for data processing and information retrieval.
• Analyze vast datasets to highlight patterns and insights.
• Develop impactful algorithms to solve complex challenges.
• Validate model performance, analyze ROI, and ensure model excellence.
• Document and present model processes, outcomes, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 1+ years of experience in AI, data science, or predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (with Python coding skills).
• Deep learning experience (CNN, RNN, LSTM, attention models).
• Experience with machine learning methodologies (SVM, GLM, boosting, random forest), graph models, or reinforcement learning.
• Experience with open-source tools (PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Pandas).
• Experience with large data analysis using Spark (PySpark preferred).
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI tools, and developing advanced language models.
• Experience applying Generative AI-based tools.
• Experience with Hadoop and NoSQL technologies (MapReduce, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience modifying and applying advanced algorithms to solve practical problems.
