Full-Time Data Scientist (Remote)

Data Scientist (Remote) GoodParty.org seeks a Data Scientist with 3+ years' experience, strong data stacking, modeling, and data-driven problem-solving skills. You'll be an analytical core for our remote startup.

About GoodParty.org: Americans, especially young people, are losing faith in democracy. GoodParty.org is building a grassroots movement to take back communities from career politicians by helping real people run and win local and state campaigns.

What you'll do:

1. Lead building our organizational learning machine for fast, data-driven iterations.
2. Design GoodParty.org's end-to-end data system.
3. Ensure effective, trackable, and visible OKRs/KPIs.
4. Investigate underperforming areas and recommend improvements.
5. Lead cross-functional analytical projects (finance, product, marketing, politics).
6. Build strategic and financial models, prepare reports, and deliver presentations.
7. Develop a proprietary Candidate Viability model.

Who you are:

• Passionate about transforming civic leadership.
• 3+ years of data science/analytics experience.
• Quantitative skills; MBA/Master's in analytics/mathematics preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, Tableau, Python, and AI tools.
• Experience with ETL, data pipeline management, complex model building.
• Strong presentation and data visualization skills.
• Effective project manager, detail-oriented.
