Job Details
Global Decarbonization Hub Assistant Manager will directly support SMEs in driving KPMG's Climate Change, Decarbonisation and Nature (CDN) propositions. The role focuses on Decarbonisation, assisting SMEs as they support Member Firms (MFs) in selling and delivering CDN services to clients.
The Assistant Manager will:
- Support MFs with proposals through to bid stage and delivery.
- Help MFs succeed in pitches for key global opportunities.
- Support SMEs to globalise KPMG's Decarbonisation offerings.
- Collaborate with the global network and build KPMG's reputation as a CDN services leader.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of and passion for the climate change agenda
- Climate-related field experience and strong understanding of decarbonisation solutions
- Experience and technical knowledge of decarbonisation strategy across sectors
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, prioritizing tasks effectively
- Experience in business development or consulting, particularly in origination, bids, and pursuits (commercial mindset)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, influencing stakeholders and building relationships
- Excellent presentation skills, especially with senior audiences
- Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and to completion
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Resilience, perseverance, and tenacity under pressure
- Track record of making things happen at scale
- Solid educational background (degree or business qualification in climate-related field desirable)
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills; modelling skills desirable
