The Role: ITHAKA seeks a dynamic, experienced Delivery Lead to support JSTOR product development, increasing access to knowledge. As a Delivery Lead, you'll drive team value delivery using Lean and Agile principles to boost innovation, quality, and speed to market.
Responsibilities:
- Align teams with organizational strategy to achieve shared goals.
- Manage delivery targets, dependencies, and risks, fostering cross-team collaboration.
- Promote transparent communication to build trust and accountability.
- Facilitate productive collaboration between teams, product managers, tech leads, designers and other stakeholders.
- Help teams realize their product vision, building deep product knowledge.
- Partner to define and use metrics (OKRs/KPIs) for optimized delivery and team performance.
- Execute effective communication strategies for incidents, maintaining transparency and trust.
- Foster a culture that embraces ITHAKA's core values (Belonging, Evidence, Speed, Teamwork, Trust) and models operational excellence.
Experience and Skills:
- 3+ years of software delivery experience in product organizations.
- Demonstrated understanding of agile principles, methods, and roles.
- Flexible approach to Agile practices and processes, focused on success, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Proven experience with agile frameworks (Lean, Scrum, Kanban).
- Exceptional facilitation and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in building collaborative partnerships across all levels, with effective stakeholder communication.
- Strong ability to apply agile methods to empower high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to navigate conflict effectively.
- Strong partnership and collaboration skills, both inside and outside the technical domain.
- Proficiency with metrics and data analysis to drive improvement.
- Proficiency with technology tools like Jira, TFS, Mural, Slack, DORA, etc.
Compensation and Benefits: Starting salary ranges from $86,000 to $107,000 per year.
