About the Role
Your mission is to drive high-speed, high-quality delivery across our Engineering organization by bridging the gap between Product and Engineering. You will establish and scale robust delivery systems, drive cross-functional alignment, and remove bottlenecks that slow down execution.
As the Delivery Manager for the Engineering team, you’ll partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to accelerate delivery across the product lifecycle. You’ll be a hands-on operator who blends DevOps awareness with exceptional project management, team coordination, and strategic foresight.
What You'll Do
- Delivery Ownership: Plan, drive, and oversee the successful execution of initiatives across multiple engineering pods - delivering on-time, within scope, and aligned with company priorities.
- DevOps & Engineering Best Practices: Leverage hands-on DevOps experience to advise on improvements in our release pipelines, infrastructure processes, and developer workflows, ensuring operational excellence across teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage proactively with Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM teams to ensure end-to-end alignment.
- Capacity & Roadmap Planning: Support the alignment of team capacity with roadmap objectives - surfacing trade-offs early, highlighting risks, and supporting decisions that keep delivery on track.
- Execution Cadence & Agile Rigor: Own and evolve sprint rituals (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and delivery tracking mechanisms, ensuring predictable, transparent execution.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Actively manage cross-team dependencies, removing blockers and escalating strategically when needed. You think ahead and don’t let surprises derail progress.
- Delivery Metrics & Reporting: Define, track, and communicate key delivery metrics such as cycle time, sprint velocity, and throughput. Build data-driven dashboards that keep all stakeholders informed.
- Stakeholder Management & Leadership: Inspire and guide cross-functional teams. Help Engineering and Product leaders stay focused, aligned, and moving forward—developing trust and clarity across the organization.
- Strategic Thinking & Process Evolution: Continuously evaluate and optimize delivery processes. Align initiatives with company vision and proactively identify operational opportunities for improvement.
Your Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in delivery management, technical program management, or engineering operations - preferably in a fast-paced product-led tech company.
- Hands-on knowledge of DevOps concepts and tooling (e.g. CI/CD, cloud environments, observability platforms), with ability to recommend best practices.
- Strong Agile/Scrum delivery skills, and experience running projects across multiple squads.
- Proven track record of delivering complex initiatives with high visibility and tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills—you excel at aligning stakeholders and surfacing decisions.
- Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Linear, or similar to manage delivery pipelines.
- Analytical and data-savvy; confident in interpreting delivery KPIs to drive decisions and improvements.
- Strategic thinker who sees the bigger picture, connects execution to outcomes, and balances risk with delivery speed.
