As Delivery and Release Manager you will be responsible for for leading and optimizing the delivery of our In House roadmap, from studio to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth effective delivery and execution of game releases on our in house platform ensuring the highest standards of release controls at each stage.
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will be part of the Entain Studios operations team, who ensure the smooth day to day running of our Entain Studios division, you'll play a leading part in the delivering games and exciting new gaming features from our development teams to our world wide casino brands.
This role gives an opportunity to help shape and enhance the delivery & releases process for our studios, helping to drive our thrilling projects to our players across word wide markets.
What you will do
- Provide management and direction for the delivery and release function aspects of our gaming platform and in house studios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement delivery & releases processes aligned with regulatory requirements, audit requirements and company processes to help achieve business goals,
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the overall performance and effectiveness of the delivery and release function
- Communicate release insights, performance metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Lead and mentor a team of delivery executives, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Manage and record the delivery and release process within company tracking tools, creating progress updates for distribution to stakeholders.
- Release games onto various environments as needed to support the development to release lifecycle
- Working with internal development squads, coordinate and approve game releases via automated deployment methods.
- Act as the key contact for all release progress queries for Entain Studios.
- Work with Central Product teams, Compliance teams, and Certification Suppliers to lead the correct scheduling of content, releases, and documentation to progress the In-house roadmap deployment plan.
- Previous experience within a release manager, delivery manager or similar role
- Experience in the Gaming Industry, Ideally for both online & retail
- Experience of working with Games Development Teams & Game studios
- Experience working with Jira, confluence and similar tracking tools
- Understanding of development lifecycles
- Experience of gambling regulations in the UK & other EU jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing people
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional work teams up to task completion
- Technical/coding experience
- Excellent communication skills
