AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a creative, highly talented and experienced Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) / Transaction Advisor for the USAID-funded Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI).
PGI will provide infrastructure project design and delivery support, removing barriers to strategic infrastructure opportunities, such as economic, legal, regulatory, technology, environmental, and safety barriers.
The DCOP will support the Chief of Party (COP) in project leadership, management, and technical direction of the anticipated activity.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the COP in managing a multi-disciplinary team, providing leadership, technical direction, and quality oversight.
- Leading technical delivery for transaction advisory support.
- Supporting management of technical teams in developing technical deliverables.
- Helping the COP ensure environmental compliance.
- Representing AECOM to USAID personnel, and acting as acting COP as needed.
- Identifying and managing technical resource needs.
- Identifying issues and risks, providing mitigation strategies, and monitoring their resolution.
- Ensuring systems are established and maintained, and adequate resources are applied.
- Monitoring subcontractors and partners, achieving efficient subcontract compliance.
- Overseeing the project's Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning program.
- Providing quality assurance support for priority projects.
