Full-Time Deputy Chief of Party / Transaction Advisor

Responsibilities:

• Support the COP in managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Lead all technical delivery related to transaction advisory support.
• Support management of technical teams in the development of technical deliverables.
• Help ensure environmental compliance.
• Represent AECOM through communication and reporting to USAID.
• Identify and manage technical resource needs.
• Identify issues and risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Ensure systems are established and maintained.
• Monitor project subcontractors and partners.
• Oversee the project’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning program.
• Provide overall quality assurance support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, project finance, business administration, or related field.
• 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience.
• Experience managing engineering, infrastructure transaction advisory, or construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.
• Eight (8) years of experience in implementing projects of similar complexity.
• Five (5) years of experience managing engineering, infrastructure transaction advisory, or construction projects including 5 years of working in International Development.
• Proven experience working in Africa, the Indo-Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Strong background in managing programs funded by USAID, MCC, DFC, and/or the U.S. State Department.
• Expertise in quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
