Role Description:The Senior Associate Director/Deputy Head of Rails will support the Head of rails and EC senior management in delivery and operations, helping build and grow the India team. This includes interviewing, selecting, and onboarding candidates. Lead the team supporting Rail projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:Develops technical solutions to complex problems. Works with general direction. Independently determines and develops solutions. Has experience in the Rail Market overall, with preferred experience in UK, UAE, US, Canada, or Middle East.
Requirements:Needs strong technical understanding of the Rail sector, excellent leadership abilities, and the ability to gain client trust. Must identify appropriate solutions, promote innovative ideas, build consensus, and have excellent communication and influencing skills. Strong business negotiation and people management abilities, along with managerial acumen and familiarity with business administration principles. Prioritizing and delegating tasks, introducing new processes, and improving existing ones.
Qualifications:Master of Engineering (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution. Applicants must have 15+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, with UK/Middle East/US experience preferred. Ability to see the bigger picture, meet deadlines under pressure, demonstrate accountability, accuracy and precision, a willingness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm/self-motivation.
