Software Build/Install Engineer
Jitterbit is seeking a software build/install engineer to join our Platform team. Jitterbit is an automation company providing a Unified AI-Infused Low-code platform (iPaaS, API Management, LCAP, EDI). Our customers use our platform to address critical automation challenges. About the Job
We seek a detail-oriented Software Build and Install Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust build and deployment systems for efficient software delivery. Responsibilities include automating processes, managing installations, and ensuring build pipeline reliability. This role will contribute to building a highly effective build system, easy for customers to use. Full lifecycle responsibilities exist to create scalable build systems.
About You
You should have strong design, architectural, and coding capabilities, producing reliable and scalable designs. Coding should be easily understood, modified, and built upon by other engineers. Experience with integration and APIs is valuable.

Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in building large-scale distributed applications
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Microservices and cloud-based architecture/design experience
Technical Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in build tools (CMake, Make, Gradle, Maven)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Strong scripting language skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Version control experience (Git, SVN)
- Software packaging and installation tools (InstallShield, NSIS, WiX)
- Understanding of operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS)
- Application deployment experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Java proficiency (a plus)
- RDBMS experience (SQL Server, MySQL) (a plus)
