Join Our Global Team - This key Server Production Support, Data Base Management, and Applications Development role will have you fully engaged with an International Team of expert Telecoms professionals that manage Global Access & Underlay Service Providers on behalf of DT and our International customers. Reporting to Global Provider Management (GPM) you will be responsible for all Server Operations and Production associated with Daily, Weekly, and Monthly ETL routines, Report Generation/maintenance/processing/troubleshoot, Applications development and support.

Collaborating closely with GPM colleagues you will focus on delivering continuous efficiency improvements and advanced capabilities to manage the performance of our Global Access Providers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position is responsible for reporting and tool development for the Global Provider Performance Management Program as well as the planned expansion of the current Program Capabilities
• This position will also have project management responsibility as assigned to support the roll out and integration of new company systems and expansion of capabilities into the current GPM reporting production platform
• Data Base Design & Administration (Operations & Delivery Integration) SQL Server, MS Access, Filemaker, Oracle, etc
• Standard Reporting Production (Schedule & Delivery) Assure on-schedule execution of all Processes, Reports, and DB updates
• Deliver responsive team support for GPM web based tools and drive quality Improvements & Team Efficiency
• Server Optimization (Migration of VBA & VB.NET based applications)
• Server Operations - Maintain Satisfactory Performance of SQL, Web environments and Tools along with robust management of VM environment
• GPM Platform Design & Maintenance (Application Support)
• Provide Capabilities Consulting (for management and peers)
• Ensure Tools and Process Documentation maintaining current and thorough process / applications documentation
• The position will have the responsibility to create programs that will interrogate both internal and external databases in support of Performance Comparative analysis reporting.
• Your daily tasks: Monitor daily Server & Report Operations to ensure production routines are running as scheduled and intervene when required. Reporting to the USA based Provider Performance Reporting Team within GPM you will have close daily communications regarding production topics and new development strategies and initiatives. The Server Environment, hosted in Frankfurt, will also require regular collaboration to maintain a strong working relationship with these expert support contacts. Interact with End User colleagues as first line for data/application issues and support requests.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar qualification
• Experience in SQL/SQL Server (design, functions and procedures)
• Experience in programming with a modern language: Python (preferred), JavaScript, C#, implementing business-critical software.
• Experience developing full stack applications.
• Experience with data visualization, producing detailed/story telling reports.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Tools:

• Must have:SQL/ SQL Server
• Preferred: Python/ AI / ML / LLM
• Helpful: POWER BI/ MicroStrategy, VBA/VB.net, Microsoft Office Suite
