Job Details

As a Development Game QA Lead at Endava Games, you will own the test plan and coordinate QA efforts to provide coverage for development and publishing teams.

100% Remote position. Working with a multinational team on AA or AAA games in an Unreal Engine.

Get to experience working on diverse projects within the game space. Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of Games QA Testers.
  • Be the representation of Quality and Game Testing support on your product.
  • QA Support and Leadership:
    • Be the key Quality practices leader in team and product meetings.
    • Gather testing requirements and pass down the day-to-day focus to the rest of your QA team.
    • Active support and management of the QA database.
    • Review all issues entered by your team to ensure high quality standards and best practices.
    • Build test and support plans alongside your QA Manager to ensure your game’s quality.
    • Participate in the definition and improvement of ENDAVA’s QA standards, workflows, and reporting.
    • Produce QA reporting on a daily, weekly, and milestone cadence.
  • Project Management:
    • Coordinate daily tasks, build delivery, downtime, and report/flag quality issues.
    • Monitor daily test results and team productivity.
    • Review daily tasks and team flags.
    • Build and maintain project documentation and team spaces.
    • Provide client-facing/client-centric breakdown of project health and own the test team’s progress.
  • Resource Management:
    • Onboard, train, and mentor new and current testers.
    • Coaching and team performance management.
    • Provide real-time feedback during testing.
    • Meet with your team 1-on-1 and help with their career development.
    • Participate in future hiring rounds.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience as Games QA Lead.
  • Minimum 4+ years of testing experience in games on multiple platforms.
  • Shipped at least 2 console or PC games as QA Lead.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and strong client-facing skills.
  • Well-organized and maintains high standards.
  • Mastery of production pipeline tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills (English, oral and written).

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in managing remote teams.
  • Development QA experience (Unreal, Unity, etc.).
  • Building, creating, maintaining CI/CD tools.
  • Passion for games.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and “people-first” approach.
  • Understanding of KPIs for product quality.
  • Technical skills (VBA, Jira analytics, etc.).
