Full-Time DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer for D&D, you will play a critical role in designing, automating, and maintaining the secure infrastructure supporting multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure (servers, containers, networks, databases, observability, security, storage).
• Develop DevOps and SRE methodologies for backup/recovery, security/compliance, and cloud computing.
• Implement software to automate continuous software development and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance application performance, efficiency, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Provide training and support on compliance and security processes.
• Stay updated on security threats, cloud technologies, database technologies, and industry trends.
• Identify and resolve system performance issues.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, TechOps, or related fields.
• 3+ years using containerized workload management (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS ECS, EKS).
• Proven experience building and managing infrastructure in AWS.
• Proficient in at least one programming language.
• Experience implementing data encryption solutions using AWS services (KMS, ACM, S3 bucket policies).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Proficient in automating tasks using AWS Lambda, AWS CloudFormation, or similar services.
• Strong problem-solving and bug resolution skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Kubernetes and Terraform experience.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Intermediate or higher Python proficiency.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Sumologic).
• Experience with Linux.
